Punk Catra

I'm very, very late to She-Ra. I finally watched it with the family through August and September. After it was finished, I wanted to paint my favorite Catra look, the outfit she wore for Season 4. I started with a 3D model in Clip Studio Paint. I don't do this often, but its sometimes an easy way to get a sketch down quickly and accurately. After the rough sketch, as usual, I put down some flat colors and suggestion of shading. You'll notice that I left out the stripes on her forearm, which I actually didn't add until after I thought I'd finished the piece. Next came the texturing on her clothing and helm, which is generally speaking my favorite way of making a piece come together. When I was finished though, it didn't quite feel done. What I really wanted to do was give her a punk rock makeover. Most of the jewelry is modeled after mine own, which is usually sitting on my desk because I can't paint with it on, but can't be bothered to put it away.
