Marceline, The Vampire Queen

I frequently put something on Hulu or Netflix on while I'm painting just to have some background noise. For several weeks, I was making my way through Adventure Time for the fourth or fifth time. Marceline has always been my favorite character. I've made two fan comics based on her songs, and she inspired me to get a tattoo of vampire bites on my neck (some day! Not yet.) I've seen some art of Marceline and her voice actor, Olivia Olson, together, but never one of Olivia *as* Marceline. So that's what I decided to paint. I very closely referenced a publicity photo of Ms. Olson and set about the task of making her over into Marceline!
