Before our D&D group moved to meeting twice a week, some of the players (myself included) were experiencing some massive dissatisfaction when someone had to cancel and we couldn't move the game forward for two weeks. During that period, we floated running a second, more casual game in the same setting. One of those ideas we were most excited about was a game following the adventurers of average every day drow.
I described my character as April Ludgate, but a drow tattoo artist. I really liked this concept, and got pretty detailed about her backstory. However our main group decided to just meet twice a week and if someone had to miss a session, no big deal. Thus, the second game was scrapped. I still hope I'll be able to play this character at some point.
